Students
Excellent students can work with us in two different ways: either
by completing a traineeship or writing a dissertation in collaboration
with a university. A traineeship lasts typically for 2 - 6 months.
As a rule, a specific problem within a larger project is dealt with
during this period. The project may be pure research or undertaken
for a customer. Subjects for dissertations may be suggested by us
or by the student writing the dissertation. The subject should fall
within our specific areas of expertise. An ability to program in C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, R and Matlab is desirable. The ability
to use Excel and Access is a requirement. A basic course of study
should have been completed in one of the following fields or a related
area: (Economic) Mathematics, (Economic) Information Technology, Financial
Engineering, Asset Management and Business Administration.
You will receive extensive feedback from us once you have completed
your traineeship or dissertation. The successful completion of a traineeship
or dissertation may lead to an offer of a permanent position with
risklab.
Graduates
We are looking for graduates whose grades show that they have understood
the theory and who now want to use their skills in practice. A course
of study should have been completed in one of the following fields
or a related area: (Economic) Mathematics, (Economic) Information
Technology, Financial Engineering, Asset Management and Business Administration.
Ideally, you will have already gained extensive experience through
traineeships and time spent abroad. As an analyst, you will assist
in the implementation of projects for customers right from the start.
You will work with an experienced project team to make an essential
contribution to the development of concepts and solutions. You will
be fully integrated in the team from day one.
Professionals
As a professional, you will have had several years' experience in
Asset Management or Investment Banking. You will have project management
and project team leadership skills. You see project acquisition as
an exciting challenge. You watch the markets and detect trends and
problems from which problems could be derived at an early stage. With
up to 4 years' practical experience, you could join us as an Associate
or a Senior Associate. You could even join us as a Manager if you
have more than 4 years' experience.
